Job Title: Postal ClerkJob Summary

Canada Post Corp is seeking a qualified Postal Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will perform a variety of sales/customer service activities to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include operating a computer point of sale system, maintaining floor displays, conducting merchandizing and inventory control, and processing financial transactions.

Responsibilities
  • Sales/Customer Service: Perform a variety of sales/customer service activities to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Point of Sale Operations: Operate a computer point of sale system.
  • Merchandizing and Inventory Control: Maintain floor displays, conduct merchandizing and inventory control.
  • Financial Transactions: Process financial transactions (cash, cheques, debit & credit card payments).
  • Mail Processing: Receive, sort, sequence and batch mail items.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have experience in customer service in a retail environment, with sales experience being an asset. Experience working in a production environment is also an asset.
