About the Role

Momentum Developmental Support Corporation is seeking a skilled and compassionate Developmental Service Worker to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing crisis intervention and support services to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide suicide and crisis intervention services to clients in a group home setting
  • Resolve conflict situations and promote a safe and supportive environment
  • Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses
  • Assist clients with special needs and accompany them to appointments and social outings
  • Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Medical exam
  • Immunization records
