Logistics Supervisor for Trucking Operations

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our team at PARALLEL 60 TRANSPORT INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will oversee the day-to-day activities of our truck drivers and ensure the smooth execution of our logistics operations.

About the Job

This is a permanent full-time position with an estimated salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, based on a 30-35 hour work week. The job requires flexibility, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Co-ordinate and schedule activities, including truck driver assignments and route planning.
  • Supervision: Supervise workers and projects, including recommending measures to improve work methods and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Logistics Management: Oversee the coordination of repairs and rentals, as well as ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Work Experience: At least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field, preferably in the trucking industry.
  • Skills and Qualifications: MS Office proficiency, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a strong team player attitude.
