Job Summary

We're seeking a talented Backend Developer to join our Authentication Security team. As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate with product management to gather product requirements and break them down into technical work. You'll work on implementing features around open standards in security and identity, such as Open ID Connect, and develop high-quality, scalable enterprise solutions using Kotlin and Scala.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product management to gather product requirements and break them down into technical work
  • Implement features around open standards in security and identity, such as Open ID Connect
  • Develop high-quality, scalable enterprise solutions using Kotlin and Scala
  • Work on complex software problems and develop solutions using industry standards in identity, authentication, and web services
  • Mentor junior developers and learn from others
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields, or equivalent experience
  • ~3+ years of experience using a source control system like Git, SVN, or Mercurial
  • ~3+ years of experience programming in an object-oriented language such as Kotlin and/or Scala
  • Experience developing and maintaining a large web application
  • Experience working on complex software problems
