About the Opportunity

The Biomedical Engineering Technologist provides critical support for medical technology by repairing, maintaining, and calibrating life support and other medical devices. This role also involves maintaining medical computers and networks, as well as training physicians, nurses, therapists, and other technical staff. Additionally, the Biomedical Engineering Technologist performs safety performance and routine inspections on electronic, electrical, and mechanical equipment and systems.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in electronics engineering technology. The ideal candidate will have a two-year diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology and be registered or eligible to be registered with TechNova as a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET). The candidate must also have access to reliable transportation and possess manual skills required to repair, calibrate, and perform safety and performance inspections on medical equipment. Certification as a Certified Biomedical Engineering Technologist (CBET(C)) is also required for this position.

Hours and Compensation

This is a permanent, full-time position with 75 hours bi-weekly. The hourly rate is $28.89 - $38.67, and successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
