Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Materials Science Electron Microscopy Innovation Leader to spearhead the integration of cutting-edge workflows into our cloud-based platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in materials science, exceptional communication skills, and experience in driving research collaborations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with globally leading scientists to integrate 4D STEM, EELS, STEM, and MicroED workflows into DECTRIS CLOUD.
  • Contribute to shaping the product strategy by gathering user insights through primary market research.
  • Build strong relationships with research institutions to advance scientific innovation.
  • Present results and solutions at international conferences to position DECTRIS CLOUD as a leader in collaborative and data-intensive projects.
  • Foster engagement and demonstrate the impact of DECTRIS CLOUD in the Materials Science community.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a PhD in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field, with hands-on experience in electron microscopy. They will also possess strong programming skills, particularly in Python or similar, and exceptional communication skills. Additionally, they will have a proven track record in driving research collaborations and a wide network of scientific collaborators.
