Treasury Internship/Co-op Opportunity

Scotiabank is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Velocity Program as a Treasury Intern/Co-op. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and policies.
- Assist with reviewing and enforcing policies and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Provide support to various teams within Group Treasury, including data analysis and project coordination.
- Attend meetings with key stakeholders and leadership to stay informed and contribute to decision-making.
- Undertake projects as required, utilizing analytical skills and investigative abilities to drive results.
- Review files for forecasting to ensure consistency and accuracy, and prepare data for analysis.
- Currently enrolled in post-secondary education.
- Strong analytical mindset and investigative abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of Capital Markets products is considered an asset.
- Understanding of PowerBI, VBA, SAS, SQL, or Tableau is considered an asset.
