Job Title: Home Child Care Provider

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Child Care Provider to join our team at Ishfaq Hussain. As a key member of our household team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our children.

Responsibilities:
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our children.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
  • Travel with our family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by their parents, promoting positive behavior and development.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, helping them become confident and capable individuals.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all necessary safety protocols.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting their physical and mental well-being.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring our children receive the best possible care.
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods, establishing a consistent sleep routine.
  • Supervise and care for children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring their transportation needs are met.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing comfort and support when needed.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and time management.
Work Conditions:

Our Home Child Care Provider will work in a non-smoking environment, with relocation costs covered by the employer. Public transportation is available, and the work setting is in the employer's/client's home.

We offer a permanent position with 30 to 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English, and we are looking for someone who can commit to this role.
