Medical Director

The TEEMA Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our medical services team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing medical leadership and direction to our team, developing and implementing medical strategies, policies, and procedures, and providing medical oversight and guidance to our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Medical Leadership: Provide medical leadership and direction to our medical services team, ensuring that our organization's medical goals and objectives are met.
- Medical Strategy Development: Develop and implement medical strategies, policies, and procedures that align with our organization's overall goals and objectives.
- Medical Oversight: Provide medical oversight and guidance to our organization, ensuring that our medical services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Quality Improvement: Oversee the Quality Improvement (QI) Plan, ensuring that our medical services are continuously improving and meeting the needs of our patients.
- Training and Education: Participate in the training and education of our interdisciplinary team, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality medical care.
- Performance Appraisals: Coordinate performance appraisals of our Primary Care Physicians, ensuring that they are meeting our organization's expectations.
- Communication: Manage communication with our provider network, ensuring that our medical services are aligned with our organization's goals and objectives.
- Education: M.D. or D.O. with a current state license.
- Certifications: Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice; advanced certification in geriatrics preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a lead administrative role in a managed care environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
