Caregiver Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB). As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our users in a safe and supportive environment.

• Assist users with daily activities, such as mobility and transportation
• Provide basic care and support to users
• Communicate effectively with users, families, and healthcare teams
• Ensure the availability and maintenance of equipment and materials

• Transport users within the facility and outside the establishment
• Accompany users outside the facility as needed
• Install devices for which you have received proper training
• Carry equipment, collect samples, and maintain medical records

• High School Diploma or DEP in Homecare
• Related experience is an asset

• No specific diploma required
• Three to four years of related experience
• Successful completion of a reading and writing test
