Resident Advisor is seeking a highly motivated and experienced City Manager Plus to join our Global Content Network (GCN) in Vancouver. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the local electronic music scene and helping us grow our audience in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local promoters, clubs, and artists to promote RA's offerings and grow our audience.
  • Act as a link between RA's Partnerships Team and local promoters and users in Vancouver, sharing ideas and feedback with the wider company.
  • Contribute to the development of local content for RA's website, including events, artists, labels, and promoters.
  • Maintain the club database, updating it with relevant information and pitching interesting local news and features for editorial consideration.
  • Onboard local promoters, venues, and artists to RA Pro and help roll out new revenue tools to support growth in the region.
Requirements:
  • Fluency in English is a requirement for this role.
  • Outgoing personality with a track record of effective communication, both personal and digital.
  • Embedded within the local scene with a wide existing network.

We are an independent company run by devoted dance music enthusiasts, dedicated to bringing together the world's electronic music communities. Our Global Contributor Network (GCN) and international teams help us establish connections with hyper-niche local scenes. We aim to reflect the communities we engage with, promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in our workplace.

We advocate for a more inclusive and equitable electronic music community, using innovation to empower the community. This is a freelance role, and the expected monthly rate is 1100 CA$ for 40 hours/month. Our salary calculation method involves a comprehensive comparison of the cost of living, including rent, additional costs, and average salaries across comparable cities within our network.
