We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused General Merchandise Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a General Merchandise Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with the sale of goods.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers with product inquiries, and resolving customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist customers with locating merchandise, making purchase decisions, and answering product-related questions.
- Store Maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment by zoning assigned areas, recovering merchandise, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
- Contribute to a safe and hazard-free work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Inventory Management
- Assist with stocking merchandise, downstocking if applicable, and applying product protection when required.
- Set and complete modulars, including flex modulars, and set new shelf caps.
- Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience an asset.
