Job Title: Medical Devices Reprocessing Technician

Job Summary:

As a Medical Devices Reprocessing Technician at Bayshore HealthCare, you will play a critical role in ensuring the rental, return, and preparation of medical equipment for our clients. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test medical equipment to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment faults using technical manuals and troubleshooting skills.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on equipment to ensure it is clean, safe, and ready for use.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and returns.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and effective communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in medical device reprocessing and infection control.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Training in medical device reprocessing and infection control.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend technical instructions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:

As a Medical Devices Reprocessing Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and patient safety. You will be required to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods, and may be exposed to chemicals and other hazardous materials.
