We are the newest member of Sobeys Inc.'s retail food offering which serves the needs of Canadians with more than 1,600 stores in over 930 communities from coast-to-coast.
We offer a competitive compensation package for our Full-time Staff Pharmacist, ranging between $100,000 to $120,000 per year, varying by role and location. This is based on factors such as working location, work experience, and skills, as well as internal equity and market conditions.
About the Role
We are looking for friendly, knowledgeable, and professional individuals to join our pharmacy team who will make meeting the health needs of our patients their top priority. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will demonstrate warmth, empathy, and compassion while acting in the patient's best interest to achieve excellence in the areas of patient-centered care, customer service, workflow efficiencies, and professional clinical services (disease state management, medication reviews and adherence, health risk assessments, injections/vaccines etc.).
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing patient counselling and education for new therapy to patients/caregivers while tailoring to the needs and concerns of the patient.
- Initiating care plans, following up, and completing proper documentation.
- Participating in professional programs and collaborating with colleagues to provide excellence in health & wellness services to all patients.
- Actively engaging in all areas of Fusion to ensure patients experience seamless care and a consistent pharmacy experience across locations.
- Ensuring prescription safety prioritizing technical functions to Pharmacy Registered Technicians and Assistants as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution and must be a Licensed Pharmacist, in good standing, in the province of responsibility. Injection and First Aid Certification are also preferred. Kroll software experience is beneficial but not essential.
