Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Associate to join our team at RBC Dominion Securities Inc. as a Client Service Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service, coordinating meetings, and ensuring accurate and timely updates of client documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prepare meetings for Advisors with their clients/prospects, ensuring seamless execution and follow-up.
  • Provide proactive client service, focusing on problem resolution, attention to detail, and effective communication with various departments.
  • Respond to client inquiries, including account transactions, tax receipts, account reporting, and other requests.
  • Assist the Advisor team with client onboarding, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Manage incoming communications from clients, Advisors, and internal/external partners, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely responses.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files, adhering to internal controls and industry regulatory requirements.
  • Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery.
  • Support the Advisor team and clients throughout the Wealth Management process, maintaining audit trails and priorities.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess a Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH) certification.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, with a high level of time management and organization skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Nice-to-have qualifications include knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures, as well as experience in the securities industry.
