Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Anesthesia Assistant to join our team. As an Anesthesia Assistant, you will work under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist to provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include monitoring stable anesthetized patients, ensuring patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery, and assisting the Anesthesiologist in administering anesthesia.
You will also be responsible for providing diagnostic data to the Anesthesiologist or Surgeon, including blood gases, pulse oximetry, transcutaneous monitoring, and end tidal Carbon Dioxide (CO2). Additionally, you will support the preparation of the patient for surgery by completing the pre-operative assessment, inserting necessary lines and tubes, and ensuring proper patient positioning.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anesthesia principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care, we encourage you to apply.
