About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Systems Business Analyst to join our team at Alberta Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business needs and developing solutions to improve our information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Requirements: Develop and document technical requirements to ensure that our products, processes, and solutions meet business requirements.
  • Cost-Benefit Analysis: Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to support system implementation.
  • System Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions.
  • IT Strategy and Advice: Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery.
  • Security Risk Assessment: Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware.
  • Security Policy Development: Develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality and execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
