Key Responsibilities- Network Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure, including routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
- Microsoft AD and Exchange Administration: Manage our Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange environments, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- LAN, WAN, and VPN Management: Configure and maintain our local area networks, wide area networks, and virtual private networks, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity.
- Virtualization and Storage Management: Administer our virtualized environments, including MS Hyper-V and VMware V-Sphere, and manage our storage systems to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Network and Phone Infrastructure: Install, configure, and maintain our network and phone infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect our corporate data from intrusion, loss, and corruption, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Education: Post-secondary degree in computer science or systems and network administration.
- Certifications: CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or equivalent.
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience designing and managing network hardware infrastructure, administering virtualized environments, and working with computer security.
- Skills: Advanced knowledge of PowerShell scripting, network monitoring and management tools, and FC-based SANs.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
