Medical Device Technician

We are seeking a Casual Medical Device Reprocessing Technician/Perioperative Aide at Queen Victoria Hospital in Revelstoke, BC.
Job Summary:This is a casual position with rotating shifts, Monday to Friday, with varying start and end times. As a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician/Perioperative Aide, you will be responsible for preparing the Operating Room (OR) theaters, positioning and preparing surgical patients, and restocking supplies in the theaters and storage areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform technical duties related to preparation of the OR theaters and position and preparation of surgical patients and related supplies/equipment.
- Restock supplies in the theaters and storage areas and transport patients, specimens, equipment, and supplies within the perioperative areas.
- Support the surgical team regarding patient observations and interactions, and in the use, care, and location of perioperative equipment and supplies.
