Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Set The Table Kitchen & Co.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of kitchen staff, requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain inventory levels
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including training and development
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customer complaints or concerns, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays, and ensure that all food is presented to the highest standards
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
