Business General Manager Job Description

SOUTH GRANVILLE BUSINESS COLLEGE is seeking a highly skilled Business General Manager to lead our organization's strategic growth and development. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for allocating resources, establishing objectives, and formulating policies to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Regional Coordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments.
  • Policy Formulation: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
  • Financial Management: Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning.
Work Environment
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Large Workload: Manage a large workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
