Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Child and Youth Care Worker to join our team at Stratford Children's Services Inc. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care and support to children and youth in our group home setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports
  • Assess and develop individualized care plans for clients
  • Provide guidance and support to clients in daily living activities, including food preparation and housekeeping
  • Manage and resolve conflict situations in a fair and respectful manner
  • Supervise and monitor the activities of clients in the group home
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience working with children and youth in a group home setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
