About the Role

CIMA+ is seeking a highly skilled HVAC and Plumbing Specialist to join our team as an Engineering Role. As a key member of our building services department, you will be responsible for designing and developing plans and specifications for ventilation, air conditioning, heating and cooling, plumbing and fire protection systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop plans and specifications for ventilation, air conditioning, heating and cooling, plumbing and fire protection systems.
  • Determine construction costs and quantities in accordance with standard methods and established plans and specifications.
  • Carry out surveys and studies, and write technical reports.
  • Help solve technical problems.
  • Prepare progress reports and contribute to the development of the action plan.
  • Act as a resource person for the technical team.
  • Prepare and monitor fee budgets and make recommendations.
  • Participate in partial supervision of construction work.
  • Attend client meetings.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a university diploma in building services engineering and a minimum of five years' relevant experience. LEED accreditation or knowledge of sustainable development and energy efficiency principles are assets. Proficiency in spoken and written French is required, and good command in English is an asset. A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle are also an asset.
