Job Title: Steel Stud Framer - Construction Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team at Revelstoke Steel Ltd. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for installing exterior and interior steel studs in various construction settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites
  • Supervise other workers
  • Estimate costs and materials

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
