About the Role:
We're seeking a highly skilled Norwegian Localization QA Tester to join our team in Montreal. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for testing video game titles and verifying all text, images, and voice-over components in Norwegian. Your attention to detail and linguistic expertise will be essential in identifying and reporting errors in a bug-tracking database and/or translation document.
The Key Responsibilities:
- Test video game titles and verify all text, images, and voice-over components in Norwegian
- Identify and report translation, contextual, cultural, and other linguistic errors in video game titles
- Provide resolutions for errors reported to improve the linguistic and translated content
- Follow and respect terminology guidelines
- Cross-check issues between different languages with your team
- Report to and follow instructions from the Test Lead
- Address and escalate problems to the Test Lead
The Ideal Candidate:
- Native-level language competency in Norwegian
- Proof of existing eligibility to work in Canada
- Experience using mobile, PC, and console devices and knowledge of their terminology
- Passion for video games
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Professional competency in English
