Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fine Dining Server to join our team at Silvertip Resort in Canmore, Alberta. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional culinary experiences to our guests and residents, while embodying our company values of Caring, Integrity, Excellence, Team Spirit, and Financial Responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional culinary experiences to our guests and residents, adhering to our Service Beyond commitment.
• Offer wine pairing suggestions to complement meals, showcasing your knowledge of fine wines and cuisine.
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times, maintaining a high level of integrity and respect for our guests and colleagues.
• Develop a thorough understanding of our menu and ingredients, enabling you to make informed recommendations and suggestions to guests.
• Ensure that food is served hot or at the prescribed temperature, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
• Upsell premium sides and specials, driving revenue growth and enhancing the guest experience.
• Communicate efficiently with the Food and Beverage production team, ensuring seamless execution of orders and guest requests.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently, utilizing our point-of-sale system with precision and speed.
• Address guest complaints and issues promptly, providing solutions or escalating concerns to supervisors or managers as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all supplies are stocked and ready for service.
• Prepare tables for guests, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide exceptional service and create memorable experiences for our guests.
• Participate in monthly beverage inventory processes, contributing to the success of our beverage program.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a fine dining setting, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, with a minimum of 2-3 days per week.
• Diploma or degree in hospitality is an asset, but not required.
• Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
• Eligibility to work in Canada full-time is essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
• Experience with restaurant point-of-sale systems is an asset.
• Able to lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds, with a strong physical presence.
