Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Southbridge Goderich. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their safety, health, and happiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor residents to identify their care needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or according to established policies and protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, and evaluate resident care.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality care delivery.
- Document and report resident symptoms, changes in condition, and other relevant information.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in nursing or another approved registered nursing program.
- Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses or the ability to obtain.
- 3+ years of experience in nursing, preferably in long-term care.
- Excellent communication and comprehension skills.
- Able to work individually and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks in order of urgency.
