Laboratory Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at the Sparwood Health Centre. This permanent full-time opportunity is perfect for those who have completed a recognized Combined Laboratory/X-Ray program and are looking to work in a rural setting.

About the Role:

This CLXT position will work in both the Laboratory and Medical Imaging departments, rotating between shifts at the Sparwood Health Centre and the Elkford Health Centre (34km away). The role involves performing routine laboratory, x-ray, and ECG procedures in accordance with departmental policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform various laboratory, x-ray, and ECG procedures
• Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care

Qualifications:

Graduation from an approved Combined Laboratory X-Ray Technician program and eligibility for registration with a provincial licensing body are required. Additionally, one year of general experience in both laboratory and diagnostic imaging fields or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is necessary.

What We Offer:

Our competitive salary ranges from $65,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer generous relocation assistance, employer-paid vacation, insurance, and benefits, as well as opportunities for education and development. Successful candidates may be eligible for up to $20,000 as a recruitment incentive and/or relocation allowance.
