Job Summary:

Core-Mark International is seeking a skilled Warehouse Specialist to join our team. As a Warehouse Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of products within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Select and consolidate merchandise in accordance with customer orders and delivery sequences.
  • Direct extraneous inventory to storage areas or dry rooms as applicable.
  • Ensure sufficient quantities of product to accommodate routine and/or special demands.
  • Maintain orderly workstations and return supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.
  • Contribute to the safety and security of the warehouse environment.
  • Verify and scan the proper location of products.
  • Monitor existing stock and transfer items where needed.
  • Separate larger units into pick quantities and shelve properly in pick areas.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Ability to operate a Walkie/Powered Pallet Jack and Reach Truck.
  • Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times.
  • Must work in multi-temperature environments, cooler, freezer, and dry.
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
  • 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
  • Able to get certified in Reach operation and Electrical-Pallet Jack.
  • Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout the shift.
  • Post-hire criminal background check required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
  • Foodservice distribution or related industry experience.
