Job Title: Programme Analyst

As a Programme Analyst at Desjardins, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Business Banking Services Solutions Department (BBSS). The BBSS is the technological gateway for our business clients, and you will be responsible for monitoring performance indicators and achieving Desjardins Group targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Change Management: Ensure sound management of changes to applications to minimize disruptions to our business clients.
  2. End-to-End Application Expertise: Be the end-to-end application expert for the solution and ensure that service gets reestablished in a timely manner.
  3. Action Planning: Help prepare and propose action plans to address issues in accordance with current rules and parameters.
  4. Operational Reporting: Prepare operational reports on stability statistics and provide advisory support to stakeholders.
  5. Process Development: Develop and document methods, tools, and processes using tools like PowerPoint and Confluence.
  6. Application Governance: Manage application governance with the external provider to ensure compliance with Desjardins Group standards.

Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  2. A minimum of six years of relevant experience in the banking sector, including payments
  3. Extensive experience in operational support
  4. Experience working with external suppliers
  5. Experience with MT101, MT102 payment transactions
  6. Knowledge of French is required
  7. Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members, and/or clients
  8. Proficiency in Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
  9. Proficiency in Python
  10. Knowledge of Kyriba payment solutions
  11. Knowledge of the Swift platform
  12. Knowledge of Linux
  13. Knowledge of Unix
  14. Knowledge of MFT – including encryption
  15. Knowledge of ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence
  16. Knowledge of Control-M
  17. Available 24/7 as an on-call advisor with pay
