At Meridian, we're committed to helping our members achieve their financial goals. As a Financial Planner, you'll play a key role in providing expert advice and guidance to our members, helping them navigate the complexities of personal finance and achieve financial peace of mind.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement personalized financial plans for our members, taking into account their unique financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment objectives.
- Provide expert advice on investment options, retirement planning, estate planning, and other financial matters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our members, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring our members receive the best possible advice.
- Collaborate with internal partners to provide comprehensive financial solutions and drive business growth.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on broad-based advising.
- MFDA licensing is required, with the ability to complete necessary coursework for IIROC licensing.
- Relevant designations such as PFP, CFP, CIM, or TEP are an asset.
- Strong business development skills, with the ability to source new business through internal and external sources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with members and internal partners.
