Position Details

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Planning and Analysis Strategist to join our professional finance team in Caterham, Surrey. As a key member of our team, your primary responsibility will be to prepare and analyse the group's budgets and forecasts to inform strategic decision making and investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and long-term financial projections through collaboration with senior management throughout the organisation.
  • Financial reporting and analysis, including income and cash flow projections, monitoring financial performance against forecasts, and identifying risks and opportunities in budgets and forecasts.
  • Supporting strategic planning and development of financial strategies through provision of financial analysis to assess the impact of investments or disposals.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Post-qualification experience as an ACA qualified accountant.
  • Previous exposure to an FP&A type role would be preferable.
  • Strong numerical background.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret financial data in relation to the business and its performance needs.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels.
  • Exceptional Excel skills.
  • Experienced Word and PowerPoint user.
