As a leader, you will guide a team of engineers dedicated to ensuring the optimal performance of all electrical, cabin management, and communication systems, including lighting, audio and video entertainment, appliances, cameras, and security systems.
You will be responsible for planning, overseeing, coordinating, and prioritizing activities to meet departmental quality, scheduling, and budgetary goals.
Providing technical guidance to team members to fulfill program requirements will be a key aspect of your role.

Utilizing Bombardier's Operational Excellence and other methodologies, you will implement and enhance business processes, improve customer satisfaction, and achieve strategic objectives.
Effective collaboration with other engineering departments, internal and external stakeholders, and major partners/suppliers will be essential for successful task management.
You will maintain visibility on project execution, addressing issues and escalations as necessary with your supervisor.
Staying informed about advancements in Cabin Interior Systems will be crucial.
Additionally, you will support workforce planning and budget development.

Leading the performance and development of your team members while demonstrating strong leadership qualities will be vital.
Essential Skills and ExperienceQualifications:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or avionics engineering from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry.
- Experience with New Development Program phases, including JCDP, JDP, PDR, CDR, Certification, Testing, and Entry into Service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of commitment and the ability to work independently.
- Proven management capabilities in influencing others, resolving conflicts, and solving problems.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, analytical thinking, flexibility, initiative, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- A willingness to maintain a flexible schedule to address urgent technical matters as needed.
- A results-oriented mindset, capable of working under pressure and managing urgency.
- Proficiency in both French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
