Job Title: Truck Dispatcher

North 67 Transport Inc is seeking a skilled Truck Dispatcher to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of vehicle operators and crews, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment
  • Process and transmit information and instructions to co-ordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews
  • Monitor personnel workloads and locations
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
  • Respond to urgent calls from individuals who require assistance
  • Record mileage, fuel use, repairs and other expenses
  • Assist with maintenance of communications equipment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Knowledge of cross border dispatching regulations and practices
  • Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, coordinating the activities of vehicle operators and crews. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
