About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to fill the position of Landscape Technician at Ferguslea Properties Ltd.

The ideal candidate will have experience in landscaping and grounds maintenance, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor and perform continuous tree and shrub maintenance to comply with Crime Free Program requirements.
  2. Conduct regular site tours to identify any areas that need pothole and minor curb repairs.
  3. Address backyard concerns with residents related to compliance and maintenance repairs.
  4. Ensure the timely completion of work orders assigned, communicating timelines to residents.
  5. Support our flower Bed Program by assisting in leading summer students to maintain beds outside of contract scope.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Chainsaw license.
  • Previous experience overseeing contractors.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably for short periods of time.
  • Ability to work in awkward postures for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work overhead for extended periods of time.
