Financial Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Compliance Specialist to join our Assessment Services Department. As an Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of client financial information and records, in compliance with the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Act.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, internal policies, and procedures, as well as the ability to interpret and apply legislation to inform independent decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough audits of client financial records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of audit findings and recommendations.
Collaborate with the Audit Team Lead and Management to establish audit targets and priorities.
Qualifications
Ideal Qualifications
A degree in accounting or a related field, with a minimum of three years' experience in financial accounting and/or auditing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are required for travel to client sites.
Experience and an educational equivalency will be considered.
