**Responsibilities:**

As an International Screening Researcher, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough background checks on executives worldwide

• Verifying educational and professional qualifications through online databases, telephone calls, and email correspondence

• Mastering the use of databases and vendors that serve as international liaisons for verifying degrees and professional qualifications

• Gathering and summarizing news articles

• Synthesizing information into comprehensive, client-ready reports

• Learning and mastering the use of databases that cover public records

• Meeting client-driven deadlines

• Ensuring compliance with company standards of privacy and security

• Collaborating with team members to provide excellent client service

• Possessing strong organizational skills and high levels of written and oral communication

• Adapting to an evolving and dynamic work environment

**Required Qualifications:**

• Strong research, writing, computer skills, attention to detail, and high levels of reading comprehension

• Bachelor's degree from a University recognized in Canada

• Fluency in English, with foreign languages a plus

• Research, investigative, or journalism experience a strong asset

• 1-3 years of experience in a research-centric, investigative, or information gathering role

• Excellent computer skills with an emphasis on Internet and social media research

• Ability to provide high levels of client service

• Capacity to communicate clearly and at a high level, both written and oral

• Above-average reading comprehension skills

• Must be responsible, punctual, accurate, and organized
