**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Summary:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at MacLeod House Baddeck. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care to our residents in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
  • Provide consultative services regarding issues relevant to nursing profession and nursing practice
  • Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families
  • Conduct disease screening
  • Deliver health education programs
  • Provide nursing care
  • Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment

**Requirements:

  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
  • Adult Abuse Registry check, Criminal record check, Immunization records, and Vulnerable sector check

**Work Environment:

Our facility is a nursing home/home for the aged, and we offer a supportive team environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be physically demanding, and work well under pressure.
