About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our Insurance Agent Team Member at Berni Williams Insurance and Financial Services Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients through inbound and outbound calls, digital channels, and in-person interactions.
  • Offer tailored solutions to meet clients' insurance needs, providing advanced guidance and expertise on Desjardins products and services.
  • Deliver outstanding advice and service for transactions related to insurance products and services, ensuring complete and correct solutions the first time.
  • Act as a process/product expert to address customer concerns, be accountable for problem-solving, and raise matters to the appropriate people.
  • Work towards achieving set goals while being an ambassador for innovation, offering exemplary experiences and trusted advice.
  • Collaborate with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals, develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.

Requirements:

  • Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
  • Proactive in problem-solving.
  • Dedicated to customer service.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to make presentations to potential customers.
  • Passionate, engaging, and have a desire to consistently and compassionately deliver superior customer experience.
  • Property & Casualty license (preferred/must be able to obtain).
