Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Specialist to join our team at Worldwide. As a Telecommunications Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware
  • Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace or repair telecommunications equipment
  • Inspect operation of telecommunications equipment
  • Test installed telephone systems to locate transmission faults
  • Analyze test results and adjust, change or repair switching system, network, associated equipment and software
  • Complete and maintain test and service reports
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Or equivalent experience
Work Environment

As a Telecommunications Specialist, you will work in various locations, including telecommunications central offices and switching centres. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
