Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team at Professional Siding Ltd. as a Wall Finishing Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create a smooth finish.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces to ensure a strong bond between plaster and surface.
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces to prevent damage and ensure durability.
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat as required.
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency for optimal performance.
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim to add a touch of elegance to our projects.
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings to enhance sound quality and visual appeal.
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in plastering.

Working Conditions:

  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
