Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Produce Stocker to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Produce Stocker, you will play a critical role in ensuring our produce department is fully stocked and visually appealing for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Zones the produce department to ensure efficient restocking and merchandising.
  • Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain high-quality produce offerings.
  • Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced to meet company standards.
  • Adheres to food safety and handling procedures, as well as sanitation and cleaning protocols.
  • Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and stocking merchandise.
  • Ensures the department is fully stocked and ready for business.
  • Follows Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be physically able to lift and move merchandise as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, experience in a retail or grocery environment would be an asset. Additionally, having a high school diploma or equivalent would be beneficial.
