About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Scientist to join our team at Associated Engineering. As an Environmental Scientist, you will play a key role in managing contaminated sites and risk assessments for municipal infrastructure and linear projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead environmental consulting projects, ensuring compliance with provincial regulations and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to meet client needs and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their environmental concerns and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop remediation plans for contaminated sites.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in environmental consulting.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant science; graduate degree preferred.
  • 12+ years' experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on contaminated sites and risk assessments.
  • Strong project management and client relationship skills.
  • Professional registration with APEGA and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines within a team environment.
