Pricing Actuary Lead

At HSB Canada, we're looking for a skilled Pricing Actuary to join our team. As a Pricing Actuary Lead, you'll be responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative data analysis to assist in P&C pricing new and existing products.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in actuarial science, mathematics, or statistics, with 5-7 years of P&C actuarial work experience. They should be proficient in advanced programming and data mining using Power BI, Excel, VBA, and SQL.


Key responsibilities will include:



  • Leading pricing efforts for commercial and personal lines
  • Developing and implementing pricing tools and models
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to support pricing needs
  • Providing actuarial support for new product development

Requirements:



  • University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or statistics
  • 5-7 years of P&C actuarial work experience
  • Completion of at least 2 actuarial CAS/SOA exams
  • Advanced programming skills in Power BI, Excel, VBA, and SQL
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
