Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Diamond Edge Services 2018 inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing heavy-duty equipment, as well as instructing apprentices and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty equipment, including trucks and attachments
  • Instruct apprentices in equipment maintenance and repair
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment
  • Verify and repair emission control systems
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment repair
  • College/CEGEP education in a related field
  • Commercial Vehicle Inspection Certificate
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a physically demanding environment, with regular exposure to dust and heavy equipment. The ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and stand for extended periods is required.
