Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Nova Hotels. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring quality standards throughout the hotel and providing an excellent experience for our guests. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to execute and follow through on projects.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee Guest Services, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and Catering departments to ensure high standards of quality and service.
- Maximize guest satisfaction and develop strategic plans to improve hotel operations.
- Act as a support to the General Manager and assume responsibility in their absence.
- Lead by example and promote a positive employee relations culture through effective communication and regular team meetings.
- Conduct regular inspections of all departments to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and employees.
- Proven experience in hotel operations, with a strong background in leadership and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or a related field an asset.
