Job Summary:

MasterTech is seeking an experienced Diesel Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of a large fleet of diesel heavy equipment and diesel trucks. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, training, and hiring Mechanics, assisting in maintenance activities when needed, ordering parts, scheduling work, and reducing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure timely completion and minimize downtime.
  • Train and develop Mechanics to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform maintenance tasks efficiently.
  • Assist in the ordering of parts and materials to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Schedule work and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Reduce downtime by identifying and addressing potential issues before they become major problems.

Requirements:
  • 310T or 421A license.
  • 5+ years of experience working on diesel trucks and/or heavy equipment.
  • Experience in a leadership role, such as Lead Hand, Shop Manager, Shop Foreman, Service Manager, Operations Manager, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills.
