Compensation

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $45,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.

Job Description

This role involves assisting construction site supervisors in various tasks such as:

  • Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials
  • Measuring weight for rigging and hoisting purposes
  • Reading blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials like concrete and asphalt
  • Performing routine maintenance work
  • Removing rubble and debris from construction sites
  • Directing traffic at or near construction sites
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar field
  • Secondary school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and in noisy environments
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Team player with excellent hand-eye coordination
