As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting cross-platform databases solutions to deliver highly available, high-performance, and scalable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal development, investment, and infrastructure teams to design and deploy databases solutions.
  • Work with various database platforms, including PostgreSQL, Redis, Clickhouse, and Microsoft SQL.
  • Develop and optimize database indexes, triggers, and stored procedures.
  • Administer Linux systems and ensure high availability, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Experience with Python, Ruby, or Perl programming languages.
  • Basic understanding of source control concepts and software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of database administration experience, with expertise in at least one of the following: PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, or FoundationDb.
  • Strong knowledge of database concepts, including indexes, triggers, and stored procedures.
  • Experience with Linux systems administration and high availability, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other database platforms, including ClickHouse, FoundationDb, MSSQL, MongoDb, Redis, and Neo4j.
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools, such as Chef, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Experience with observability and monitoring stacks, including Prometheus exporters, LogStash, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana, and AlertManager.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud providers, including AWS and GCP.
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies, including VMware and containers.
