Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

ONTARIO INC. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our food service operations.
  • Requisition Food and Supplies: Source and procure high-quality food and kitchen supplies to meet our culinary needs.
  • Supervise Food Service Staff: Lead and train a team of food service staff to ensure excellent customer service and food quality.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate ingredient and supply requirements to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns.
  • Maintain Records: Accurately maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare Reports: Compile and submit regular reports to management on food service operations and performance.

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
